our why

When there are nine exists because...

Despite women making up over 50% of law school graduates and nearly 45% of Associate roles of AmLaw 200 firms, less than 25% of equity partner roles at those same firms were filled by females (Walking Out The Door, Liebenberg and Scharf, 2019). Representation in law has come a long way in the last century, but there is still much to go.

WTA9 was founded to advocate for and support diversity in law. With the help of our generous donors and amazing community, we are on a mission to bring further equity, fairness, and inclusion to the practice of law.

for The heroes who inspire us
